Very great and developed housing place. Full of respectable young men with a fashion taste of wearing ski masks. Be sure to tell them YGK and they will cook you a free meal and give you a place to stay whilst treating you like family

Absolutely a wonderful place! I went there for the first time and i got greeted by a group of nice black men wearing skii masks! Ive heard people saying “YGK!” and “Lotti tripped!” So i decided to say that aswell! They gave me free airpods and some funky looking powder! Ive also saw a little 5’1 white kid named Ndot walking around! They was very kind. What a nice little girl!💗

Such a beautiful place to visit , especially by the Hudson River . I visited today and was greeted by some very well dressed well mannered men. They seem to love wearing ski mask and Amiri Jeans. While walking through the front entrance they asked me what what I was jacking (What ever that meant) I told them I didn’t know what that meant. A young guy who lived there asked me to empty my pockets and that he would hold my stuff for me until I came back out of the building, such a nice thing for him to do(till this day I’m still waiting for him to give it back). But They then told me to scream JAYRIPK and that I was smoking Chii & Nas (who ever that is) . They also told me to say (“ALL HAIL DTHANG”) I guess Dthang is a very important person there . After saying JAYRIPK they all ran up to me and started doing this odd dance whilst throwing down the “O” sign & And screaming “I can’t wait until I catch me an OY” (It was a bit catchy tbh so I tagged along”) They told me that dropping the “O Sign” meant that I love the Bronx . It was such an amazing experience, and to make the night better they had a firework performance, but I could not see where it was coming from . I recommend giving this place a visit .

Amazing time as soon as I entered the area in the Bronx a group of teenagers with ski masks and they went up to me and said Rpt 4sev 4sev or something like that and I think that’s a abbreviation of river park towers and I yelled something I heard from a song called ygz and they gave me a welcoming handshake and gave me a ski mask and they told me to say DOAK or I would get head topped or something like that so I said DOAK and they told I was a real homie. Very good place now I’m a member of the hood

I went here because my son loves the big towers, upon approaching this beautiful campus, many locals started greeting us, I read somewhere online to say YGK to the locals and it worked like a charm! Best community they Cooked me up a meal for me and my son, I don’t know what ygk means but it sure means something positive to this beautiful community

to alert the residents of RPT, you must scream “YGK” or “DOA/OY/OG”, they will start shooting fireworks as a sign of respect. as a resident, a lot of people will say “RPT buggin” meaning that they are healthy beings and not on any sorts of drugs or pills.
